117 The Song of Songs and the Love of Christ for His Bride

Introduction

The Song of Songs is a dialogue of mutual love between Jesus Christ and His faithful Bride!

God created mankind male and female and he said that all he had made was GOOD. Then he commanded them to come together and multiply. Marriage is a Holy Estate ordained by God; and marital love, making one flesh of two persons is a Holy Action, as long as it is done within the boundaries commanded by God.

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Those boundaries being; that all sexual activity is reserved for one man with one woman inside the sanctity of marriage for life; and that all things are done in mutual respect and love. To go outside of these boundaries is to cheapen the holiness of marriage and defile marriage, reducing sex from a Holy Thing to pure carnal lust.

God created sex, and ordained marriage and family to teach us about him!

When we defile the Holiness of Marriage; we lose sight of God in the allegory and cannot learn the intended lesson; being focused on the lust and not on the agape love: Which lesson is that God intends that we be in eternal agape love, and eternal unity and oneness with God.

This is what we have forgotten today as we love organizations and idols of men, more than we love and keep the Word of God.

Built into most of us is a strong desire for sex; that is, for physical union. This is to teach us that we should have an extremely strong desire for a spiritual union with God.

The scriptures are full of statements about the Bride of Christ, the marriage of the Lamb; about the Creator as the Husband of physical and later spiritual Israel; and about the unity that God wants with his beloved. Our love for our mates is to be an object lesson of the love that we are to have for our spiritual Husband, who has given his life for us.

The Passover is a remembrance of the passionate love of God who gave his Son, and of the Son who gave himself for us; and bought us with the bride price of his life, and delivered us from bondage to Satan and sin. The Feast of Unleavened Bread is about our love for God, that we will FOLLOW our espoused Husband “withersoever he goeth,” and internalize his very nature to be in full spiritual unity and at one with our Husband of Eternity!

Jesus Christ married physical Israel, and that marriage was a fore-type of his coming marriage to spiritual Israel.

The capital of physical Israel was the city of Jerusalem which by virtue of being the capital represented the whole nation.

Jerusalem had within it, the temple of God. The Temple was the HEART of the Theocracy, and was meant as a place to proclaim the teachings and commandments of God, which is the way of LIFE.

The High Priest of Israel was a fore-type of Jesus Christ as the High Priest of spiritual Israel.

The High Priest of physical Israel interceded for the people by entering the Most Holy Place, symbolic of the Throne Room of the Father, once a year as a fore-type of Jesus Christ, who is now our spiritual High Priest and now mediates between the Father and Spiritual Israel.

The veil hiding the Most Holy Place, was representative of the sin which separates us from God the Father; being torn in two at the death of the sacrificial Lamb of God, symbolized that repentant man may now have access to the Father through the sacrifice and mediation of our High Priest, Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ is the ONLY Intercessor between humanity and the Father, sitting with God the Father on his throne, and mediating daily for spiritual Israel.

In scripture the history of physical Israel is full of lessons for Spiritual Israel. Even Jerusalem itself is a fore-type of a spiritual Jerusalem (Rev 21); descending from the heaven of the Father, with the Father coming to dwell on the earth forever, symbolized by the Eighth Day Holy Day.

As physical Israel is a symbolic fore-type of spiritual Israel; so physical Jerusalem as the capital of the bride of physical Israel, is a fore-type of the eternal spiritual Jerusalem, as the capital of spiritual Israel forever.

Physical Israel was the physical bride / wife of Christ: and was an allegory of a spiritual bride of Christ!

Jeremiah 3:14 Turn, O backsliding children, saith the Lord; for I am married unto you:

Physical Israel became a widow at the death of Christ her husband. Now it is the called out of spiritual Israel who are the collective espoused bride of the Lamb of God. Physical Israel [and all nations] shall yet be grafted into spiritual Israel during the millennial Sabbath of Rest, and the main harvest!

At the end of six thousand years, our Mighty One shall come WITH his saints, and enter the city of Jerusalem as King of kings and Lord of lords; as he entered the city WITH his disciples on that sixth day [Friday] of the week in 31 A.D., to be crucified on the following Wednesday.

At this time many have stumbled at Christ, but when he comes in glory, he will be recognized and all Israel shall mourn in repentance and shall be saved.

Zechariah 12:10 And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.

11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:

11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.

11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes.

Isaiah 54:4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more. 54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the Lord of hosts is his name; and thy  Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.

When Christ died, his marriage to physical Israel ended and he was then free to marry a new bride, who shall be a spiritual body of faithful believers, [physical Israel was a faithless adulterous rebellious bride] called to Christ by the Father; who have proved their passionate love, over a lifetime of espousal of internalizing the spirit, mind, attitude, deeds and the deep love of their espoused Husband, Jesus Christ.

Ultimately ALL physical Israel [and all humanity] will have the opportunity to be grafted into the spiritual bride of Christ.

Jesus Christ loved his Called Out bride so much that he gave up his life for her; and we should love him so very much that we would be willing to give up our physical lives for HIM. The faithful to their beloved would rather die, than to offend their espoused Husband, Jesus Christ; in any way.

What is this talk about not wanting to eat the unleavened bread which pictures our Lord each day of the Feast? He has given his life for us! If we truly loved him, we would be excited and rushing to please him. If we were zealous for our Master, there would not even be a second thought about doing this, or about spending time in faithful diligent study into the teachings and commandments of our espoused Husband.

Many of those who speak of love, are blind to the reality of what true love really is. It should never even enter our minds to offend our God! For example by polluting His Sabbath, in paying others to serve us, instead of encouraging them to serve God and also keep God’s Sabbath holy.

Offending our beloved, by being faithless or displeasing to him, should be abhorrent to the faithful lover of Christ.

When we truly love someone we seek to please them and not ourselves. This is what Passover is all about; that our Lord serves the Father with all his heart, and has bought us with the price of his life because he loves us with a deep passionate unreserved love that has no limits nor end!

Yes our collective espoused Husband LOVES us! He loves us enough to give himself totally for us! He loves us enough to teach us the way to eternal life; which is the keeping of all his teachings and commandments!

1 John 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.

Brethren there are many HYPOCRITICAL leaders and elders among us; who say “Keep the commandments” and then do NOT keep the commandments and teachings of Christ themselves!

2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.

We know that we are in Christ if we obey the Father as Christ obeyed the Father; without any hint of turning aside, or compromise, or tolerance for sin!

2:6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk [live], even as he walked [lived] .

Brethren there are many liars among the COG leadership and eldership and brethren today; who claim to be filled with the love of Christ and DO NOT DO WHAT HE COMMANDS!

If we truly love someone we would seek their best interests above our own, to the point of being willing to die for our loved one.

Physical love as an example of spiritual love

When we find a lover, do we not seek to please them with all our hearts? Do we not avoid offenses and seek their good with all our hearts?

Today, Satan has managed to destroy true physical love and marriage because he does not want us to learn the lessons that God is seeking to teach us through loving godly marriages.

The Creator made people male and female and he said that this was very good. He intended for married couples to be passionate in uniting together in the fullness of mutual love; To be of one body and from there to learn to become of one mind and attitude together.

Jesus Christ wants a total unity of mind and spirit with his bride, which is motivated by true deep passionate unending mutual dedication and love! Therefore he used marriage as an allegory of his love for his bride, his people!

Jesus Christ has loved us with an unconditional unending love; giving his all for his bride and for all who would be grafted into his bride [yes even physical Israel his wayward widow] in future. Is it so wrong for him to want to be loved, in kind, in return?

Brethren, the Passover is about the love of the Father for his children, and the love of Christ for his Called Out bride!

We focus on being called out of Egypt; we need to also focus on being called TO Jesus Christ as his espoused bride!

This Passover Unleavened Bread season, I am going to focus on that love; and the meaning of Passover ULB.

The Song of Songs is about a passionate mutual love between a king and his bride; and is a type of the marriage of the King of kings with his bride the faithful called out Ekklesia.

Corporate churches are NOT the Ekklesia, although they may have a few Ekklesia among them.

The Song of Songs 1

Song of Songs 1:1 The song of songs, which is Solomon’s.

The bride [Ekklesia] longs to be accepted, embraced, kissed lovingly and to be one in spirit [as a physical bride longs to be united in the flesh] with her Husband [Jesus Christ].

1:2 Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine.

1:3 Because of the savour of thy good ointments [righteousness, good works, being a sweet savor like incense] thy name [reputation is a sweet smelling odor to all] is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins [the faithful of the bride Rev 14:4] love thee.

1:4 Draw me, we will run after thee [those who are called to be a part of the bride will RUN to him in great joy to be ONE with Christ]: the king hath brought me into his chambers [to become one spirit with him] : we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love [spiritual UNITY with Christ is better than any intoxicant; it is joyously uplifting beyond any other pleasure] more than wine: the upright [obedient to God] love thee.

1:5 I am black [at that time a euphemism for a slave or servant, a lowly, poor and humble person burned by the sun], but comely [beautiful of spirit for she dotes on her Lord] O ye daughters [descendants] of Jerusalem, as the tents of Kedar, as the curtains of Solomon.

1:6 Look not upon me, [do not despise me because I am humble meek and poor of the spirit of the worldly] because I am black, because the sun hath looked upon me [sunburnt in the afflictions of my labours]: my mother’s children were angry with me; they made me the keeper of the vineyards; but mine own vineyard have I not kept.

Tell me, my Lord; where I can meet with you to partake of your loving [spiritually; of your commandments and teachings] and become ONE with you; that I may NOT BE TURNED ASIDE from you.

1:7 Tell me, O thou whom my soul loveth, where thou feedest, where thou makest thy flock to rest at noon: for why should I be as one that turneth aside by the flocks of thy companions?

You fair lady [the Ekklesia; 2 John 1;1], feed as the sheep of God’s flock on the word’s of your Husband.

1:8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents.

At the time that this was written, Egypt was again powerful and an ally of Solomon. The true Ekklesia is like great horses, strong, willing and powerful, to do the bidding of their Master.

1:9 I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh’s chariots.

The true spiritual Ekklesia is adorned with righteousness as with jewels

1:10 Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold.

1:11 We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.

The true faithful Ekklesia are adorned with the beautiful goodness of the precious word of God, pleasing and obeying our Husband; which is a sweet perfume well pleasing to our Husband and our Father; while the deeds of disobedience and compromise are a stench in their nostrils.

As a physical bride on her wedding night desires to be one with her husband; the spiritual bride [the Ekklesia] desires to be ONE spiritually with our Lord.

The true called out long to be spiritually ONE with Christ in all things; in thoughts, deeds and in spirit Totally ONE with him; with not even a shadow of separation or difference; with absolutely NOTHING coming between them!

1:12 While the king sitteth at his table, my spikenard sendeth forth the smell thereof.

1:13 A bundle of myrrh is my well-beloved unto me; he shall lie all night betwixt my breasts.

The Ekklesia sees Christ as the most pleasant of things; like a sweet scent in the shadows of a fruitful vineyard on a sunny day.

1:14 My beloved is unto me as a cluster of camphire in the vineyards of Engedi.

To the Ekklesia [the true and faithful bride], Jesus Christ is the fairest and most beloved of men, a wonderful and beloved Husband

1:15 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes.

1:16 Behold, thou art fair, my beloved, yea, pleasant: also our bed is green [green as the fields in fruitfulness].

The house of Christ the espoused husband of the Ekklesia, is a great house filled with good and beautiful things.

1:17 The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.

The love of Christ and his Ekklesia for one another, is as pleasant and beautiful as any flower.

 

The Song of Songs 2

Song of Songs 2:1 I am the rose of Sharon, and the lily of the valleys.

The bride [Ekklesia] is a pleasant and beautiful flower, among the thorns of the faithless and disobedient and the spiritually compromising!

2:2 As the lily among thorns, so is my love among the daughters [of worldliness].

Christ the King is a fruitful tree amongst the wild and fruitless trees [false religions of men] of the forest. Christ is like the fruit and shade of a fruitful tree, and his fruit is the righteousness of his teachings and commandments. (John 15)

2:3 As the apple tree among the trees of the wood, so is my beloved among the sons. I sat down under his shadow with great delight, and his fruit was sweet to my taste.

Christ feeds his bride with the righteousness of his teachings and commandments; which is very good and pleasant to his bride. The Eternal loved his bride passionately and gave himself for his bride; that he might bring her to the house of banqueting [eating, internalizing] on the whole word and nature of God.

2:4 He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love.

In the next verse the word “sick” is a poor translation and should be “overwhelmed’, or “made weak; awed by”.

Christ gives to his bride the wine of his life [the Passover wine representing his life’s blood, poured out for his bride] and the apples of his wisdom.

Proverbs 25:11 A word fitly spoken [God’s Word of Wisdom] is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.

Wine as an intoxicant pictures being intoxicated and overwhelmed by love.

Song of Songs 2:5 Stay me with flagons, comfort me with apples: for I am sick [overwhelmed by love] of love.

Christ embraces his faithful Ekklesia with all his heart and loves his beloved with the passionate love that is not subject to compromise or fading away! He takes her in his loving and protective arms, and embraces us with his love!

2:6 His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me.

The bride [Ekklesia] charges the people not to offend or awaken her love. The bride is protective of her Husband!

2:7 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

The hills will skip and tremble at the presence of Christ:

Psalm 114:4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.

114:5 What ailed thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, that thou wast driven back?

114:6 Ye mountains, that ye skipped like rams; and ye little hills, like lambs?

114:7 Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;

Christ is now in heaven at the right hand of the Father and is known only by those who the Father calls, and then his ways must be searched out in dedicated study. When he comes the hills will skip like lambs in massive earthquakes at his presence!

Song of Songs 2:8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.

2:9 My beloved is like a roe or a young hart: behold, he standeth behind our wall, he looketh forth at the windows, shewing himself through the lattice.

Christ calls to his beloved; “rise up and follow me” to the wedding feast, at the appointed time.

2:10 My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Matthew 24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation [in which these signs appear] shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

The following is about the signs of the coming of spring and the word turtle refers to the turtle dove.

This use of turtle instead of turtle dove is used in Lev 12;8 [cross check with Lev 12:6], Lev 15:29 [cross check with Lev 15:14] and Num 6:10 That would of course be a reference to turtledoves; and a translation or printing error as the turtle is unclean.

The word “turtle” has less to do with the amphibian and more to do with the sound the bird we call “dove” or “turtle dove” makes. An onomatopea is a word for a sound which mimics the sound. The confusion is that the word also refers to another animal in English.

Song of Songs 2:11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; 2:12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;

2:13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

Christ and his beloved long to hear each other’s voices; the Ekklesia hear and follow the call of his spirit.

2:14 O my dove, that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely.

Deliver the Ekklesia from the foxes wise in worldliness [Luk 13:32] who seek to despoil the bride and steal her crown.

2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes.

The called out faithful belong to Christ and he to them! They bond together and come into a full UNITY with each other.

2:16 My beloved is mine, and I am his: he feedeth among the lilies.

2:17 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, turn, my beloved, and be thou like a roe or a young hart upon the mountains of Bether.

The Song of Songs 3

The bride diligently seeks after her beloved and studies of him and his ways in passionate dedication.

Song of Songs 3:1 By night on my bed I sought him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

3:2 I will rise now, and go about the city in the streets, and in the broad ways I will seek him whom my soul loveth: I sought him, but I found him not.

The faithful will take hold of Christ and WILL NOT let him go; they will cleave to him with all their might and all the strength that God gives them for eternity!. They are distressed to be separated from Christ for even a moment; they would NEVER compromise their love by compromising with his word and saying; “He knows I am weak and he will blink at my sin”.

No, NO, NO, NEVER! they would rater die than take a chance at offending their beloved!

3:3 The watchmen that go about the city found me: to whom I said, Saw ye him whom my soul loveth?

3:4 It was but a little that I passed from them, but I found him whom my soul loveth: I held him, and would not let him go, until I had brought him into my mother’s house, and into the chamber of her that conceived me.

The faithful bride is protective of her Lord and he is her chief delight; she will proclaim him and will NOT be ashamed to speak of him!

3:5 I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.

About Solomon and his greatness as an allegory of Messiah, while he was still faithful.

3:6 Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke, perfumed with myrrh and frankincense, with all powders of the merchant?

3:7 Behold his bed, which is Solomon’s; threescore valiant men are about it, of the valiant of Israel.

3:8 They all hold swords, being expert in war: every man hath his sword upon his thigh because of fear in the night.

Jerusalem is symbolic of the coming King Messiah the Christ and all those who are zealously faithful to the whole word of God. Solomon as a type of Christ, and Christ loves the descendants of Jerusalem and will come to save us all.

3:9 King Solomon made himself a chariot of the wood of Lebanon.

3:10 He made the pillars thereof of silver, the bottom thereof of gold, the covering of it of purple, the midst thereof being paved with love, for the daughters of Jerusalem.

3:11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon [allegorically the descendants of Israel go forth to meet the coming King of Kings, Jesus Christ] with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.

There have been certain difficulties in understanding due to translation issues and changing language use over time: For example the phrase “sick of love” actually means “lovesick, overwhelmed with love, or filled with passion. It most certainly DOES NOT refer to a love that has subsided and gone cold.

Many hours have been spent trying to identify the Shulamite when the word means “princess,” or “perfection”, which refers to the spiritual nature of the bride; and is not really a common name or place of origin;. It is the pet name for the bride by her Husband.

Another term “my sister my spouse” is also faulty translating and should be rendered “My beloved my spouse [bride]”, [See Strong’s 269, bride, beloved; and 3618 betrothed, or bride.

Hopefully these issues and the view of the story as an allegory of the love between Jesus Christ and his called out bride, will help in a good understanding of the awesome mutual love between Jesus Christ and the bride that was called out to him by the Father.

Brethren, WE are to be this loving bride of our espoused Husband; totally consumed with love and dedication to HIM; passionately DOING what he teaches and commands in whole hearted faithfulness and enthusiastic zeal for our espoused Husband and everything about HIM!

There is no room for compromise or tolerating the sin that separates us from HIM! We are to RUN after and pursue the righteousness of Christ, never even thinking of standing on false personal traditions instead of on his Word!

This description of the faithful bride: Spiritually faithful and morally beautiful; meek, peaceable and innocent like the dove; and of comely speech, speaking the truth of God in his wisdom.

The Song of Songs 4

Song of Songs 4:1 Behold, thou art fair, my love; behold, thou art fair; thou hast doves’ eyes within thy locks: thy hair is as a flock of goats, that appear from mount Gilead.

4:2 Thy teeth are like a flock of sheep that are even shorn, which came up from the washing; whereof every one bear twins, and none is barren among them.

The physical assets of the bride are comparable to a spiritual being without spot or blemish of any uncleanness, imperfection, or sin before her Husband.

And how do we attain such perfection? Only through the diligent seeking to keep the whole word of God and through the power of he who overcame the world!

4:3 Thy lips are like a thread of scarlet, and thy speech is comely: thy temples are like a piece of a pomegranate within thy locks.

The bride is like a tower of strength; through the power of her Lord and the keeping of the whole word of God.

4:4 Thy neck is like the tower of David builded for an armoury, whereon there hang a thousand bucklers, all shields of mighty men.

As the breasts are a source of consolation for a husband, and nourishment and consolation for children; this speaks of nourishing and consoling the nations with the Word of God in the Kingdom after the marriage of the Lamb.

4:5 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins, which feed among the lilies.

The government of God shall rise above and replace all other governments, and will be called the mountain of myrrh and frankincense for its sweet perfume of righteousness.

4:6 Until the day break, and the shadows flee away, I will get me to the mountain of myrrh, and to the hill of frankincense.

The bride shall be ready for the marriage of the Lamb, having removed all spot and wrinkle; removing even the tiniest spot of the pollution and imperfection of sin. Those who wink at and tolerate sin will NOT be there.

Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Song of Songs 4:7 Thou art all fair, my love; there is no spot in thee.

The mountains of Lebanon were the highest known in Israel at that time and were a figure of the highest of governments. The Ekklesia shall be exalted as high as the mountains of Lebanon above all other mountains of government.

4:8 Come with me from Lebanon, my spouse, with me from Lebanon: look from the top of Amana, from the top of Shenir and Hermon, from the lions’ dens, from the mountains of the leopards.

The term “my sister my spouse” is faulty translating and should be rendered “My beloved my spouse [bride]”, [See Strong’s 269, bride, beloved; and 3618 betrothed, or bride.

Christ loves his bride as she him; wholeheartedly and passionately without compromise.

4:9 Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister [Beloved], my spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.

The love of the bride is as intoxicating as wine; and her loyalty to the righteousness of God a sweet perfume to her espoused Husband.

The lips of the true Ekklesia speak the sweet words of repentance and salvation, teaching the milk and meat of the Word of God faithfully. Her faithful KEEPING of all the teachings and commandments of her Husband cloaks her with the garments of righteousness and is a sweet perfume to God.

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

Songs of Songs 4:10 How fair is thy love, my sister [Beloved], my spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!

4:11 Thy lips, O my spouse, drop as the honeycomb: honey and milk are under thy tongue; and the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

The faithful Ekklesia is like a defended garden, fruitful behind the walls of her Lord. She is like a fountain of waters and a pool of the righteousness God’s spirit.

4:12 A garden inclosed is my sister [read “beloved”], my spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed.

The faithful Ekklesia are like a walled and defended garden [protected by the Almighty] that brings forth much pleasant sweet smelling fruit of godliness, and like a well of living waters of God’s spirit, as God pours his spirit into and through his collective bride; that they might be fruitful and that their light might shine forth as a beacon on a hilltop!

4:13 Thy plants are an orchard of pomegranates, with pleasant fruits; camphire, with spikenard,

4:14 Spikenard and saffron; calamus and cinnamon, with all trees of frankincense; myrrh and aloes, with all the chief spices:

4:15 A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon.

Let the winds [holy spirit] blow upon the bride, the garden of the Eternal, which is the whole earth. Let the sweet perfume of her loyal faithfulness bring the full marriage union between the Husband and the bride; and spread the pleasant teachings of salvation throughout all nations. After the marriage when the Husband comes with his bride; let the righteousness of God be spread throughout the whole earth.

Let the Holy Spirit cover the bride, that the sweet perfume of her righteous deeds in keeping the whole word of God might spread out across the whole earth; let it fill the earth which will become the garden of our Husband. So that the earth will be full of righteousness and pleasant to the Eternal and he shall make it spiritually fruitful.

4:16 Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my beloved come into his garden, and eat his pleasant fruits.

Christ looks on the earth and the sweetness of the faithful Ekklesia, smelling the perfume of her righteous obedience to him, the intoxicating wine of her love. He comes to gather her up in a resurrection to life eternal, as his collective spiritual Bride

The Husband is satisfied with the faithful pleasant perfume of the spiritual beauty of the bride, and calls all the earth to be grafted into the bride and partake of the of the love of God and the milk of the Word of Salvation.

The Song of Songs 5

Song of Songs 5:1 I am come into my garden [the earth], my sister [bad translation; read “beloved”], my spouse: I have gathered my myrrh with my spice; I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk: eat, O friends; drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved.

Now begins a BIG PICTURE prophecy of Christ at his first coming, knocking at the door of the bride and delaying the resurrection and the full marriage for some 2,000 years; before coming again for the resurrection and marriage of the Lamb. Keep this big picture in your mind as you read chapter 5.

The Husband comes to the bride and knocks at her door. She is sleeping.

The Ekklesia sleeps waiting for the coming of the Husband, Jesus Christ; but for the faithful it is a troubled sleep, for she longs for her Husband to come. She hears the voice of her Lord calling to her and she leaps up to be with him.

Jesus Christ knocks at the door and the faithful leap to attend him, while the faithless of Laodicea ignore the knocking until the very last minute Rev 3.

5:2 I sleep, but my heart waketh: it is the voice of my beloved that knocketh, saying, Open to me, my sister [my Beloved], my love, my dove, my undefiled: for my head is filled with dew, and my locks with the drops of the night.

The faithful bride sleeps and would not even set foot on the floor for any other; yet she rushes to her beloved Husband at his call.

5:3 I have put off my coat; how shall I put it on? I have washed my feet; how shall I defile them [dirty them on the floor]?

5:4 My beloved put in his hand by the hole of the door, [I saw him] and my bowels were moved for him.

The bride [the faithful Ekklesia] rushes to open to her espoused Husband and embrace him; clothed in the sweet perfume of the righteousness of HIS commandments and teachings, she reaches out to him; she embraces him and runs her fingers through his hair in tender love.

5:5 I rose up to open to my beloved; and my hands dropped with myrrh, and my fingers with sweet smelling myrrh, upon the handles of the lock.

The Husband goes to his Father and the faithful Ekklesia impatiently waits for his return.

5:6 I opened to my beloved; but my beloved had withdrawn himself, and was gone: my soul failed when he spake: I sought him, but I could not find him; I called him, but he gave me no answer.

The Ekklesia is persecuted and abused for a long period of time; almost 2,000 years.

5:7 The watchmen that went about the city found me, they smote me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.

The bride endures all that she might be with her Lord She is lovesick and suffering in agony of spirit for the presence of her beloved espoused Husband. She longs for his coming with all her being and spirit! Her reason for living is to be with and to please her Lord!

There is NO hint or shadow of compromise with his love for her or her love for HIM. For the true called out Ekklesia, death itself is preferable to any compromise of her loving obedience and loyalty to her Mighty One!

Brethren, Oh how far many of us have fallen from the true love of Christ! Falling into coddling the enemies of our espoused Husband, who would willfully sin and rebel against his Words of Life Eternal!

5:8 I charge you, O daughters [latter day descendants] of Jerusalem, if ye find my beloved, that ye tell him, that I am sick of [with] love [lovesick for him]. [That I long for his coming].

The latter day descendants of Jerusalem [modern Israel and Judah] ask the Ekklesia, the loyal and faithful bride who turns neither to the left nor to the right in her devotion to her Lord: Why she desires Christ more than any other Lord?

5:9 What is thy beloved more than another beloved, O thou fairest among women? what is thy beloved more than another beloved, that thou dost so charge us?

The loyal Ekklesia respond by teaching all people about the gospel of salvation and the wonders of Christ.

Jesus Christ is to be desired above all gods as the Might One who with the Father inhabits eternity in righteousness and justice.

Jesus Christ in his glory:

5:10 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.

5:11 His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.

5:12 His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.

5:13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.

5:14 His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires.

5:15 His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.

The words of Christ are the words of salvation; of justice, righteousness and equity; the teachings and commandments of Christ are true godly LOVE defined in print. They teach us HOW to love; and that is not by coddling unrepentant wickedness. True love tells the truth, for God is truth; true love condemns wickedness, for wickedness fights against truth. Truth is a sharp two edged sword that divides the evildoer from the righteous of God.

The compromisers with the Word of God and the tolerators of sin will NOT be in the resurrection to the marriage of the Lamb! Only the beloved who are zealously dedicatedly in love with Christ and all his ways will be among the chosen.

Jesus Christ will drive the wicked and spiritually slothful and lukewarm about him; OUT of his Father’s house!

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The word from the mouth of Christ (His teachings) are sweeter than honey

Song of Songs 5:16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.

The Song of Songs 6

Some people will hear the reports of the gospel of Christ and will seek to see him also. The descendants of Israel and Judah ask:

Song of Songs 6:1 Whither is thy beloved gone, O thou fairest among women [the loyal and zealous example of the Ekklesia, the bride]? whither is thy beloved turned aside? that we may seek him with thee.

The bride replies that her beloved delays in his garden which is the earth, seeking what is good in the earth.

6:2 My beloved is gone down into his garden, to the beds of spices, to feed in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

The faithful, loyal, dedicated, obedient, zealous, pleasing and righteous bride; belongs to Christ and HE belongs to her!

6:3 I am my beloved’s, and my beloved is mine: he feedeth among the lilies.

The called out faithful bride is overwhelmed and overcome by her passionate love for Christ. Jesus Christ is a passionate lover that gives his all for his bride and she for him; Christ is also a mighty warrior who cast Pharaoh’s armies into the sea and destroyed Jericho. Jesus Christ cast the wicked OUT of his Father’s house and condemned wickedness in Mat 23.

Jesus Christ is a Mighty Warrior for righteousness, never compromising with his Father’s law! He is nothing like the effeminate Christ of false mainstream “Christianity”.

The bride is overcome by her passionate love and is faint before her espoused Husband.

6:4 Thou art beautiful, O my love, as Tirzah, comely as Jerusalem, terrible as an army with banners.

6:5 Turn away thine eyes from me, for they have overcome me: thy hair is as a flock of goats that appear from Gilead.

Jesus Christ is a Mighty One and his glory is to bear much fruit of righteousness!

It is our shame to turn aside from passionate love for him and his Word, into a false cult of permissiveness regarding the commandments of God; preferring to stand on our own false traditions.

6:6 Thy teeth are as a flock of sheep which go up from the washing, whereof every one beareth twins, and there is not one barren among them.

6:7 As a piece of a pomegranate are thy temples within thy locks.

Solomon had many virgins and queen’s; but only ONE Ekklesia is espoused as the bride of Christ; and who ARE loyal and passionately faithful; who will be wedded to Christ as a part of the collective spiritual bride!

6:8 There are threescore queens, and fourscore concubines, and virgins without number.

The true and enthusiastically passionate Ekklesia; is undefiled by false religious teachings and the false traditions of men. She is absolutely faithfully loyal to her Lord and is the choicest righteous among women; for her dedication to her espoused Husband has made her so. She is so focused on her espoused Husband that it would not even occur to her to look aside!

Nothing can separate the bride from the love of Christ except spiritual adultery, idolatry and our own sin. Those of the true loyal Ekklesia would never allow any man, tradition, corporate entity or anything, even the threat of death itself; to come between themselves and their Lord.

Romans 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Christ speaks of his beloved bride:

When Christ comes with his Bride to establish his Kingdom, all the earth shall praise Him and his bride!

Song of Songs 6:9 My dove, my undefiled is but one; she is the only one of her mother, she is the choice one of her that bare her. The daughters saw her, and blessed her; yea, the queens and the concubines, and they praised her.

6:10 Who is she that looketh forth as the morning, fair as the moon, clear as the sun, and terrible as an army with banners?

Christ goes down to the garden of the earth to see its spiritual fruits

6:11 I went down into the garden of nuts to see the fruits of the valley, and to see whether the vine flourished and the pomegranates budded.

The Husband saw his righteously beloved, and his heart began to race with excitement and longing.

6:12 Or ever I was aware, my soul made me like the chariots of Amminadib.

The Beloved One is worth more than two armies, for her dedicated righteousness will ultimately bring many to repentance.

The Beloved one is to be an example of righteousness for all peoples!

6:13 Return, return, O Shulamite [Beloved one] ; return, return, that we may look upon thee. What will ye see in the Shulamite? As it were the company of two armies.

The seventh day Holy Day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread has the exact same significance as the weekly Sabbath and the same obligations.

As Israel was raised up out of the Sea of Death, as the sixth day ended; so the chosen shall be raised up out of their graves at the end of the six thousandth year. As Israel sang the Song of Moses in praise of their Deliverer, even so we shall sing the same Song of Moses before the throne of God in heaven.

Revelation 15:1 And I saw another sign in heaven, great and marvellous, seven angels having the seven last plagues; for in them is filled up the wrath of God.

15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.

The mark of the beast has been since Satan taught the first person to rebel against God; the mark of the beast is the mark or sign of Satan; it is REBELLION against the word and commandments of God; it IS compromise with God’s law! Many perhaps most in the COG Groups today have the mark of the beast for they are full of compromise with God’s law and idolize men which is idolatry!

15:3 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints.

15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

This is the same song that Moses sang in rejoicing over the deliverance out of Egypt! Consider it in its spiritual context with our Husband delivering us out of the Egypt of sin and out of the graves at the resurrection to life eternal.

Think of the complete and total V I C T O R Y that will be won over Satan at the resurrection of the chosen to spiritual life eternal!

The VICTORY SONG over deliverance from the Egypt of sin and a resurrection out of the Sea of Death and into the Mosaic Covenant Kingdom of God! The full version being:

Exodus 15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying,

I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.

15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.

15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

15:4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.

15:5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.

15:6 Thy right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: thy right hand, O LORD, hath dashed in pieces the enemy.

15:7 And in the greatness of thine excellency thou hast overthrown them that rose up against thee: thou sentest forth thy wrath, which consumed them as stubble.

15:8 And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

15:9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

15:10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

15:11 Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

15:12 Thou stretchedst out thy right hand, the earth swallowed them.

15:13 Thou in thy mercy hast led forth the people which thou hast redeemed: thou hast guided them in thy strength unto thy holy habitation.

15:14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.

15:15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.

15:16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of thine arm they shall be as still as a stone; till thy people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which thou hast purchased.

15:17 Thou shalt bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of thine inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which thou hast made for thee to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which thy hands have established.

15:18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.

Oh what a great rejoicing in Israel on that Seventh Day of Unleavened Bread after their deliverance from Pharaoh! Oh what a fantastic millennium of rejoicing the chosen saints will have, as they bring the remaining harvest of first fruits into the family of God, in the very presence of the Creator himself!

Now this Moses was the mediator of the covenant called by his name and was a type of Christ the ONLY MEDIATOR of the New Covenant. Christ is the Way and the Door to Salvation and the resurrection of the dead to spirit.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

Only by following HIM “withersoever he goeth” will any person be chosen to have a part on the coming resurrection to spirit.

Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

Both the weekly Sabbath days and the seventh High Holy Day of Unleavened Bread, represent a millennial Sabbath of rest spent with our Creator; on both days we are to turn aside from regular work [including cooking; properly preparing before hand] and dedicate the day to our beloved Creator and espoused Husband.

This day, like the weekly Sabbath, represents the seventh thousand years of the millennium spent with Satan and his demons restrained and Jesus Christ our Creator ruling all the earth WITH his chosen over-comers.

You faithful who love your Husband should take great delight in the prospect of being WITH our Lord for this time. The SEVEN DAY Feast of Tabernacles has NOTHING to do with the one day millennial Sabbath of rest!

Let us turn from our own pleasures of the weekly Sabbath and Holy Days; run to be with our Master as the Shulamite the Beloved of Christ does.

You have heard it said many times that the Sabbath is the test commandment; yet we FAIL the test by NOT being zealous for the Sabbath; buying in restaurants, cooking and otherwise polluting it.

For these sins Israel went into captivity and for these same sine we are cut off from our espoused Husband!

Isaiah 56:1 Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.

56:2 Blessed is the man that doeth this, and the son of man that layeth hold on it; that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and keepeth his hand from doing any evil.

56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that hath joined himself to the Lord, speak, saying, The Lord hath utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree [which cannot produce fruit] .

Even the spiritually fruitless shall become extremely fruitful; if they will repent and keep the Sabbath holy.

56:4 For thus saith the Lord unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;

56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.

56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the Lord, to serve him, and to love the name of the Lord, to be his servants, every one that keepeth the sabbath from polluting it, and taketh hold of my covenant;

56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.

We are to delight in our Husband and in the time we have with him! We are to delight in all the things of our lord because of a deep spiritual LOVE for our Husband! We are to “run to him” like the swift deer, eager to be with him and spend our time with him!

Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

58:14 Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

The weekly and annual Sabbaths and Appointed Times; are the delight of the faithful lover of Christ! If we really loved Christ we would be in a “heated rush” to be with him, obey him and please him!

The true love of God is to do his will as contained in all his commandments; to be ONE with our Lord! Doing as HE teaches, and NOT standing on the traditions of men or any other; in spiritual adultery. We are to flee from the false love of compromising with the ways of our master, as we see fit, in a false feigned love of “Situation Ethics” and permissiveness. We are to condemn all sin and rebuke the sinner, NOT coddling those who willfully sin.

We are to be DOERS and teachers of the righteousness of the Mighty One who drove the sinful OUT of his Father’s house! We are NOT to teach situation ethics and permissiveness concerning the Way of Salvation and Eternal Life; thereby causing many to stumble and sin, losing their crowns of life. For all unrepentant sinners shall surely die.

Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin [by repentance and the sacrifice of Christ], and become servants to God [doing as Christ teaches and commands], ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through [faithfulness to] Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Husband delights in his bride, and she delights in her Husband. He describes her as his ideal of perfect beauty. The perfect physical beauty is an allegory of spiritual perfection. Jesus Christ loves his bride; she is his delight and chief pleasure; the gift of his Father.

The bride is perfect in spiritual beauty and the delight of her Husband; She has become [perfect spiritually] like a perfect physical bride.

Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness [faithful UNCOMPROMISING commandment keeping] of saints.

The following words of physical praise need to be understood as an allegory of how beautiful the Husband considers the spiritual bride who has been perfected by the whole word of God.

 

The Song of Songs 7

Song of Songs 7:1 How beautiful are thy feet with shoes, O prince’s daughter! the joints of thy thighs are like jewels, the work of the hands of a cunning workman.

7:2 Thy navel is like a round goblet, which wanteth not liquor: thy belly is like an heap of wheat set about with lilies.

7:3 Thy two breasts are like two young roes that are twins.

7:4 Thy neck is as a tower of ivory; thine eyes like the fishpools in Heshbon, by the gate of Bathrabbim: thy nose is as the tower of Lebanon which looketh toward Damascus.

7:5 Thine head upon thee is like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king [like the King wears on his throne] is held in the galleries.

The breasts being symbolic fountains of the milk of the Word, each breast large like a large cluster of grapes; in more modern terms like two large grapefruits.

7:6 How fair and how pleasant art thou, O love, for delights!

7:7 This thy stature is like to a palm tree, and thy breasts to clusters of grapes.

The palm is a symbol of royalty; and the bride is graceful, poised and wise, the Queen of the Kingdom of God.

As a most beautiful physical bride, the collective Bride who has removed every spot and wrinkle of uncleanness and sin; is spiritually beautiful! And her works of the righteousness of the word of God are a sweet perfume to the Eternal!

7:8 I said, I will go up to the palm tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof: now also thy breasts shall be as clusters of the vine, and the smell of thy nose like apples;

As the mouth and lips of a comely woman are beautiful; much more are the mouth and lips of these who are faithful to and speak righteousness and teach the whole word of God!

7:9 And the roof of thy mouth like the best wine for my beloved, that goeth down sweetly, causing the lips of those that are asleep to speak.

The bride, the called out Ekklesia responds that she is ONE with her Husband: She knows that HE loves her and that she loves HIM in all his ways!

7:10 I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.

The bride walks with her husband and follows him withersoever he goeth. This speaks of the bride ruling with her Husband in the garden of the earth; the millennial Kingdom when all the earth shall bring forth physical and spiritual fruit.

7:11 Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the field; let us lodge in the villages.

7:12 Let us get up early to the vineyards; let us see if the vine flourish, whether the tender grape appear, and the pomegranates bud forth: there will I give thee my loves.

7:13 The mandrakes give a smell, and at our gates are all manner of pleasant fruits, new and old, which I have laid up for thee, O my beloved.

The bride desires her beloved to be always with her. She longs to be continually in his presence; to be always at ONE with him. This speaks of the longing of the spiritual bride to be totally and always ONE in spirit with Jesus Christ her Husband.

 

The Song of Songs 8

Song of Songs 8:1 O that thou wert as my brother, that sucked the breasts of my mother! when I should find thee without, I would kiss thee; yea, I should not be despised.

8:2 I would lead thee, and bring thee into my mother’s house, who would instruct me: I would cause thee to drink of spiced wine of the juice of my pomegranate.

8:3 His left hand should be under my head, and his right hand should embrace me.

The bride charges all other women to patiently wait on the coming of the Husband.

8:4 I charge you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, until he please.

Who is brought out of the spiritual wilderness by her Lord? The beloved faithful bride of Christ!

8:5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.

The bride says to her Husband: “seal me up in your heart and keep me there forever, for the bride burns with passionate zeal for Christ”.

8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

True passionate love cannot be bought. It is from the heart. It is the kind of love that Christ has for his bride, and that his faithful over-coming bride has for Christ! The Husband gave his life for the bride; and the Bride gives her all for her Husband! NOTHING can quench their love!

8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.

The bride is spoken of as a youth who is Called Out to the Husband and must needs mature before she can be taken to wife. This speaks physically and also spiritually, that we must spiritually grow into the perfect bride by internalizing and keeping the whole word of God!

8:8 We have a little sister, and she hath no breasts [yet being young]: what shall we do for our sister in the day when she shall be spoken for?

8:9 If she be a wall, we will build upon her a palace of silver: and if she be a door, we will inclose her with boards of [fragrant] cedar.

The Ekklesia is as a child in the faith, needing to grow in understanding and truth; when she is mature and ready for her wedding, she shall be perfectly spiritually developed and ready to produce much fruit in the millennial Sabbath, as she assists Christ in ruling the nations and teaching them the ways of God; with Satan absent and the Spirit of God poured out on all flesh. (Joel 2:28)

That does not mean that they are perfect in all things; but they have been perfected in their attitude of obedience and passionate love to follow and to keep the whole Word of God forever!

Then those with that attitude deeply ingrained, so that they are ONE with God in spirit, heart and mind; will be changed to spirit, and with the strength of a spirit will never wilfully sin ever again!

Those faithful, perfected to receive their responsibility of helping to bring all nations into the body, will find favor and be chosen for the marriage of the Lamb.

The bride finds favor by being zealously passionately loyal, never looking aside from the word of God; and faithful to keep the whole word of God to please her Husband in all things.

Spiritually in the millennium the bride will have as it were large breasts, symbolic of the pouring out of the milk of the Word of God copiously spiritually nourishing all peoples.

8:10 I am a wall, and my breasts like towers: then was I in his eyes as one that found favour.

The bride pays her Husband for her own vineyard; acknowledging that all she has is his!

8:11 Solomon had a vineyard at Baalhamon; he let out the vineyard unto keepers; every one for the fruit thereof was to bring a thousand pieces of silver.

8:12 My vineyard, which is mine, is before me: thou, O Solomon, must have a thousand, and those that keep the fruit thereof two hundred.

The companions [angels] of Christ hear his voice: The bride also seeks to hear his voice and to do his will! She seeks him and his presence, she seeks to be spiritually ONE with Christ; always hearing his voice and doing his will; forever, and ever, and ever! Those who dwell in the earth [the gardens] shall hear the voice of the Bridegroom and the Bride; when they rule the earth to lead all people to Salvation!

8:13 Thou that dwellest in the gardens, the companions hearken to thy voice: cause me to hear it.

Come to me my Beloved Husband, says the bride; run to me as the deer leap upon the hills;

8:14 Make haste, my beloved, and be thou like to a roe or to a young hart upon the mountains of spices.

May the Marriage of the Lamb come quickly

Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. 22:21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen
