Judah by killing her Husband [the very Creator made flesh], became a widow and spiritually barren. The covenant of marriage called the Mosaic Covenant between Israel and God [between Jesus Christ the Creator and physical Israel] was broken, ending with the death of the Husband.
Jesus promises that he will make a New Marriage Covenant with Israel and Judah (Jer 31;31); and that that New Covenant will bear much spiritual fruit.
The New Covenant
Physical Israel will yet sincerely repent and enter into the New Covenant when Messiah comes; and then she shall bring forth much fruit!
Isaiah 54:1 Sing, O barren, thou that didst not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, thou that didst not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife [because physical Israel rebelled and killed her Husband], saith the LORD.
When Christ comes and physical Israel is delivered; she will surely sincerely repent and prosper greatly, as an example of righteousness and a blessing to all the earth!
54:2 Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; 54:3 For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left; and thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
The sins of the past will no more be remembered when the fruitless marriage of physical Israel to God – which marriage covenant they broke – is replaced by the New Marriage Covenant with the Mighty One of Jacob (Jer 31:31). When Messiah the Christ comes and Israel is sincerely repentant she will enter into a New Covenant of marriage with the LORD and shall prosper greatly.
54:4 Fear not; for thou shalt not be ashamed: neither be thou confounded; for thou shalt not be put to shame: for thou shalt forget the shame of thy youth, and shalt not remember the reproach of thy widowhood any more.
Here it is clearly stated that the Creator was the Husband of Israel, and he will yet enter a New Covenant of Marriage with her at his coming to rule the whole earth (Jer 31).
54:5 For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
When Christ comes with his resurrected chosen, he will yet choose the wife that had forsaken him; for she will surely sincerely repent and turn to him with a whole heart, and he will take her to himself as a part of his spiritual Israel! making a New Covenant with her by adding all physical Israel to the New Covenant of the spiritual first fruits; and then grafting all nations into that same New Covenant of Spiritual Israel!
54:6 For the LORD hath called thee as a woman forsaken [because of her many sins and adulteries against her Husband] and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when thou wast refused [rejected for Israel’s many adulteries with idols of men], saith thy God.
Jesus Christ will again gather to him his beloved Israel when he comes with his chosen.
Imagine the love that caused a Husband to give his life to save his rebellious and adulterous wife who had rejected him for many lovers!
Imagine the love of the bride when she comes to her senses and sincerely repents having her appalling wickedness forgiven and being accepted and married to that Husband again!
54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. 54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer.
And Christ will never again have a reason for another tribulation to correct his wife of the New Covenant; for she shall have fully repented of her adulteries and sins and turned to her God to learn and live by every Word of God.
54:9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be wroth with thee, nor rebuke thee [again].
The Covenant of peace, is the peace between God and the repentant nations; who will make up a worldwide spiritual Israel of the New Covenant!
A few individuals have been called out to the New Covenant over the last six thousand years, and at the beginning of the millennium, all nations will be called into that spiritual New Covenant of espousal to Christ. Then as they grow spiritually and reach the end of their lives [their period of espousal], the faithful will be changed to spirit and will become a part of the spiritual bride of the New Covenant of Marriage with the Lamb!
As each person is ready, they will be changed into spirit, and have their part in the early harvest spiritual bride of Christ.
The week does not end on the sixth day; and the harvest of first fruits is not complete until the end of the seventh millennial one thousand year “Day”.
The Spiritual New Covenant is finalized with a change into very spirit and the gift of eternal life! The New Covenant is the marriage of the Lamb with the resurrected to spirit bride, and it will last forever!!!
54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.
Isaiah then insets a prophecy of the New Jerusalem of the Feast of the Eighth Day (Rev 21).
54:11 O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. 54:12 And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones.
When all people learn the teachings [doctrines] and Word of God the Father and Jesus Christ; they shall be completely at one with God the Father and with the Son; and that will bring the people into universal peace, harmony and fulfillment.
Internalizing every Word of God brings true spiritual unity with God the Father and Jesus Christ; and as every person comes into a full unity with God they will be of one mind with one another.
It is IMPOSSIBLE to have spiritual unity in a spiritual organization, by tolerating the false teachings that divide us from God!
It is when we are repentant and humble and zealous to learn and live by every Word of God, that true peace and unity will come.
54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.
Righteousness is defined by the Word and Law of God and all the Holy Scriptures. The people of God will never fear again; after Christ comes to deliver the repentant and save his people who trust in him and God the Father.
54:14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.
After the end of the millennium the enemy will be released and will come one last time; but our Mighty One will defend his people.
Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
Isaiah 54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee [against Jerusalem and Israel] shall fall for thy sake. 54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth [with bellows] the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.
Those who search the scriptures and prove all things, holding fast to the Word of God to keep it always, shall have the heritage of God’s righteousness. Those who have no zeal to learn and keep every Word of God will surely perish unless they sincerely repent.
54:17 No weapon that is formed against thee [after Messiah comes he will be the protector of his sincerely repentant and faithful bride] shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD.
The millennial invitation to all nations to repent and receive the salvation of Jesus Christ is addressed to everyone; not just physical Israel.
Isaiah 55:1 Ho, every one that thirsteth [after righteousness], come ye to the waters [the Holy Spirit], and he that hath no money; come ye, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk [wine being the sacrifice of Christ and milk being the milk of God’s Word] without money and without price.
Why do you pay to hear the traditions of men when you can GO TO THE BOOK?
55:2 Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto me, [Jesus Christ and the whole Word of God] and eat ye that which is good [eat and internalize the whole Word of God], and let your soul delight itself in [the abundance of spiritual food (meat)] fatness.
Hear and be diligent to learn and keep the whole Word of God and you shall find salvation there! Be like David in zeal for every Word of God (Psalm 119); and you shall receive the mercy that David received.
55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear [and obey (Rom 2:13)], and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
In the Kingdom of God, the resurrected David will be an example of sincere repentance and a teacher of righteousness for the people as king over a united Israel.
55:4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
Christ shall glorify his resurrected chosen, who are intensely zealous to live by every Word of God, and the nations shall flow unto them to receive instruction in righteousness from the resurrected faithful zealous chosen.
55:5 Behold, thou [after the coming tribulation the nations of the earth will reach out to Israel because of David their king and their example of godliness] shalt call a nation that thou knowest not, and nations that knew not thee shall run unto thee because of the LORD thy God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he hath glorified thee.
Jesus Christ will apply his sacrifice to the repentant and zealous for every Word of God; and the sincerely repentant who go and sin no more, will be abundantly pardoned!
55:6 Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: 55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
Turn to the Word of God and do not lean to our own ways, for the Word of God is high above the thoughts and ways of all men!
Let us turn to learn and keep the whole Word of God and all of his doctrine and commandments in repentant righteous enthusiastic zeal.
55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. 55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
The sound doctrine of Holy Scripture – the whole Word of God – is like the rain the gives life to the earth; it gives life to the sincerely zealous for God’s Word of life.
Always prove all things by the Word of God, abhorring and rooting out all false traditions and teachings; living by every Word of God.
55:10 For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
The zealous DOERS of the Word of God shall be in the resurrection to eternal life; and later the main harvest of humanity will repent and be brought in during the great judging of the Feast of Tabernacles.
55:12 For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
Thorns and briers are types of the wicked and the grand trees and good fruit and wheat are types of godly men (John 15 and Lev 23:40).
55:13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
