A fountain of pure water will spring forth from the Temple Mount, which is representative of the water of life, the Holy Spirit; being given freely to the people in the New Covenant of Jeremiah 31:31, Ezekiel 36:26-28 and Joel 2:28!
Zechariah 13:1 In that day there shall be a fountain opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem for [to remove past sin and bring holiness] sin and for uncleanness.
Satan and all evil spirits will be removed and restrained! No more will men deceive people away from God to follow idols of men!
13:2 And it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they shall no more be remembered: and also I will cause the [false] prophets and the unclean spirit to pass out of the land.
No deceitful teaching contrary to the Word of God [as is done even in the Ekklesia today] will be permitted. Even those closest to them will reject them! Today the assemblies are FULL of false prophets and false teachers, teaching their own ways contrary to the Word of God; while falsely claiming to represent God as they lead people away from any zeal for God to follow idols of men.
13:3 And it shall come to pass, that when any shall yet prophesy [falsely and teach false doctrine], then his father and his mother that begat him shall say unto him, Thou shalt not live; for thou speakest lies in the name of the LORD: and his father and his mother that begat him shall thrust him through when he prophesieth.
The false religious leaders and deceitful elders in today’s Ekklesia, as well as all other false teachers shall be ashamed of their false teachings
13:4 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the [false] prophets shall be ashamed every one of his [false] vision, when he hath prophesied [and his prophecies have failed]; neither shall they wear a rough garment to deceive:
13:5 But [then the false prophets of today will repent and deny their previous claims of greatness] he shall say, I am no prophet, I am an husbandman; for man taught me to keep cattle from my youth.
Jesus Christ will forgive his sincerely repentant people and call those who hated him and have sincerely repented; his friends.
13:6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
This correction and humbling will begin with the great tribulation from which only a tiny fraction of Israel shall be delivered alive.
An inset prophecy of Jesus Christ who was smitten and God’s flock scattered. Yet he is risen and will save his faithful little ones.
13:7 Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones.
Then in today’s 42 month affliction only one third shall be saved alive
13:8 And it shall come to pass, that in all the land, saith the LORD, two parts therein shall be cut off and die; but the third shall be left therein.
That third shall suffer terribly and shall be corrected and molded and humbled and brought to a sincere wholehearted repentance. This speaks of physical Israel, AND the spiritual Israel of Laodicea.
13:9 And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: [Then] they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The LORD is my God.
The Day of the Lord’s coming
The armies of Europe and her allies of Psalm 83 will take Jerusalem at the start of the tribulation and hold it for 42 months, during which period of time one half of Judah in Jerusalem will be deported from the city, while half of the Jewish population of Jerusalem will remain in the city.
Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
14:2 For I will gather all nations [the nations of Asia will go up to fight the remaining army of Europe at Jerusalem] against Jerusalem to battle [at the end of the tribulation]; and the city [the whole city of Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles [the New Federal Europe and the nations of Psalm 83] for 42 months (Rev 11:2); and then the armies of Asia will come] shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
Then at the end of 42 months Christ will come with his resurrected chosen and deliver Jerusalem, Judah and Israel!
14:3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Christ shall come WITH his resurrected chosen (Jude 1:14) and they will stand on the Mount of Olives. Then a great earthquake shall split the Mount; that the people, the women and children, may flee the battle.
14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the LORD my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
This day will be one of dark cloud and gloominess of battle, and the light of the Eternal shall brighten that night and the day.
14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:
14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
These physical waters are a picture of the flowing of the Living Waters of the Holy Spirit from the throne of God in the heavenly Temple down upon all flesh (Joel 2:28).
14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from [the third Temple] Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
Ezekiel 47 Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house [Millennial Temple]; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar. Read the whole chapter.
Zechariah 14:9 And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD [Yahweh], and his name one.
14:10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up [as a flat plateau] , and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses.
14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
The armies of Asia which come up against the army of the New Federal Europe based at Jerusalem shall be consumed by Christ at his coming.
Revelation 14:19 And the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.
20 And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs [200 miles].
Zechariah 14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.
14:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult [overwhelming panic and terror] from the LORD shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
When God has destroyed the armies of the wicked outside the city, the men of Judah shall rise up against the army of the New Federal Europe and the nations of Psalm 83 in the city.
14:14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
Even the animals of the invaders will be destroyed.
14:15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
Then ALL nations shall repent and shall know the Eternal (Isaiah 2:2, Joel 2:28).
14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.
And all flesh shall observe God’s seventh day [Friday sunset to Saturday sunset Sabbaths and the New Moons.
Isaiah 66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
Zechariah 14:17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.
14:18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith the LORD will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
Keeping the Sabbath and the New Moons is reckoned with keeping the Feast of Tabernacles! Jesus Christ the King will require these three things in the millennium!
Why do supposedly converted leaders and brethren reject the sanctity of the Sabbath and High Days buying in restaurants and otherwise polluting Sabbath and High Days, and reject the new moons today? Why do they condemn those who are zealous in these thing which God obviously wants us to do? Because they are NOT godly men! They make the commandments of God of no effect by the false traditions of men!
14:19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.
14:20 In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLINESS UNTO THE LORD; and the pots in the LORD’s house shall be like the bowls before the altar.
The pots shall be holy so that the sacrifice of the peace offerings may be cooked in them, and there shall be peace between man and the Eternal God!
14:21 Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holiness unto the LORD of hosts: and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and seethe therein: and in that day there shall be no more the Canaanite [there will be no more sin, for the Canaanite was a allegorical type of sin.] in the house of the LORD of hosts.
